HB Strategy Group's Managing Partner Dan Burton Participates as CEO-Coach to Executive MBA Students
18-Nov-2010
Boise, ID — HB Ventures' Managing Partner Dan Burton was invited to participate as a CEO-Coach for second-year Executive MBA students on Saturday, November 13th 2010 along with fellow executives Steve Simpson, former CEO of Extended Systems, and Randy Hales, CEO of Mity Lite. These CEOs helped the EMBA students learn effective messaging techniques for dealing with C-level executives in a simulated turnaround situation.
This coaching session directly followed a two-day turnaround lecture series taught by Mr. Burton to the same student body. "I was impressed with the caliber of students in the Executive MBA program, as well as with the strength of the curriculum and faculty at Boise State. The program's strong reputation is well-deserved," noted Mr. Burton.
Boise State's Executive MBA program encourages seasoned professionals to become innovative leaders who will shape future business enterprises and public policy. The combination of a unique integrated curriculum, seasoned faculty, executive coaches, business experts, and a cohort of participants averaging 20 years of work experience makes for a dynamic learning environment. Further, the class schedule allows time-crunched executives to minimize the disruption in their lives.
